Conheça o LABECO
O Laboratório de Ecologia e Conservação (LABECO) foi fundado em setembro de 2013 nas dependências do Instituto de Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Federal do Pará, campus Guamá, na capital Paraense, Belém. Já o Laboratório de Ecologia (LABECO-Alt), foi criado em setembro de 2018, está inserido na Faculdade de Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Federal do Pará, Campus Altamira, na região da Transxingu, Altamira, Pará.
Nossos principais objetivos de pesquisa são compreender os padrões de distribuição da biodiversidade no bioma amazônico, avaliando principalmente os mecanismos que afetam esses padrões e como as mudanças naturais ou causadas pelo por atividades humanas podem afetar os organismos.
Discovery LABECO
The Laboratory of Ecology and Conservation (LABECO) was founded in September 2013 on the premises of the Institute of Biological Sciences of the Federal University of Pará, Guamá Campus, in the capital of Pará, Belém. The Ecology Laboratory (LABECO-Alt), founded in September 2018, is located in the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the Federal University of Pará, Altamira Campus, in the Transxingu region, Altamira, Pará.
Our main research objectives are to understand the distribution patterns of biodiversity in the Amazon biome, especially to evaluate the mechanisms that influence these patterns and how natural or human-induced changes may affect organisms.
